The S.S.Mable

My name, The S.S.Mable , came from when I was 12 years old and I just randomly created a charming song about a boat. It's also a reference to my dyslexia, which often causes me to blur my words together as I read or write. Due to this, I see/ sense my name in the ssmable.

After my grad school program, it took on a new meaning. During that time, I researched, and continue to look into, different human rights issues, centering my attention on the darker historical segments of human trials. Now, the SS, also the initials of the Nazi Schutzstaffel, represents more serious subject matter that permeate behind the innocuous veneer of my artwork.
